Meanwhile, the text of the Code itself has undergone significant changes several times over the past six months. On January 1, 2020, the long-suffering Electoral Code entered into force, a priori euphoric attitude towards which for many representatives of civil society overshadowed the essence of the document in all its editions. To paraphrase a well-known saying, you can endlessly look at three things: how the fire burns, how the water flows, and how the Ukrainian legislation on elections is rewritten on the eve of the elections themselves.
